It's difficult to classify travel photography, but personally I refer to it as images I have taken during a trip where the primary purpose was not for photography, whether in the UK or abroad. Inevitably this means the results are more opportunistic in terms of light and timing, but not necessarily any less considered in other aspects, such as composition and processing.
