Sometimes we need to allow ourselves to let go of rules, convention, pre-conception and instruction. Experimenting, thinking outside the box and sometimes dumb luck, often enables us to produce work that we may never have intended but nonetheless brings us pleasure. Mindscapes is simply about letting go, letting the mind wander, and see where it takes us.
My project 'Inversions' is an off-shoot of mindscapes, and would not have come about without allowing myself the space for mindscapes first.
